There are several other Jumble blogs, but the ones I checked all started off by listing the answers. In this blog, answers can be either hinted at or masked by burying them in comments. No overt spoilers!
The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.
Comments are the lifeblood of a blog!

It was just a sleepy market town. Siestas sometimes ran to sundown. Then a Frenchy moved that way. Opened a cafe that served lattes.
There were tables and chairs out front, The patio in back always filled at brunch. A bloat of customers stuffed the bistro When the menu added mocha espresso!
No longer were siestas the noonish norm. Lines for the baristas in the cafe formed. Craftsmen produced, merchants upped sales. The wise folks ran the Frency out on a rail!
Great poem as always, Owen. Weird, though. After getting the 4 words fairly easily, I hit a complete block on the solution. Wanted SLEEP for the 1st word, but that wouldn't be in quotes and I couldn't make a word out of the remaining letters. (I hope it's OK to say this early what something is NOT). I finally picked another 1st word from the poem, and found the only possible 2nd word doesn't fit numerically with the clue, but the computer said it was solved. Also I couldn't find the 2nd word or any variation of it in the poem. I'll be gone all day, but will check back in tonight to see what you all made of this conundrum.
Yikes! You are right! The third line originally included the missing word, but in rewording it to rhyme or scan properly, I cut the essential word! Here's a revision of the 3 & 4th lines: "It was just a sleepy market town. Siestas sometimes ran to sundown. The problem was a Frenchy's new cafe. A coffee shop that served a latte."

What Mike said.
Except that the second solution word does really fit numerically with the clue.
Perhaps, to borrow from the CC, success is not a NON ISSUE. eg Or, to rephrase again, "Some (don't) Like it Hot"
SLEEP certainly seemed like the first word until I looked at the remaining letters and the second word popped out .
The four J's were easy, a lot easier than GUITAR was yesterday.

Honest!

Revised first verse ==
It was just a sleepy market town.
Siestas sometimes ran to sundown.
The problem was a Frenchy's new cafe.
A coffee shop that served a latte.
OK I get it. You're right, of course. I have to slightly change the pronunciation of the final sound of the first word, hence the quotation marks.
