There are several other Jumble blogs, but the ones I checked all started off by listing the answers. In this blog, answers can be either hinted at or masked by burying them in comments. No overt spoilers!

|| || tangy, limit, kosher, cranny, strike again.
The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.
Comments are the lifeblood of a blog!
Read the comments, and reply to them if you are so moved!
The menu at the home-style diner was unique. Tang breakfast drink, with water from the creek, Lattice apple pie, with cranberries in the crannies, Kosher ham and eggs, made of tofu, just like Granny's!
No coffee, but there was no limit on the lemon lattes. Jello in lime, or orange, or ...red, all in a carrot glaze. The steak had a strike-thru again, as it had had for years. Some day they'll be a franchise -- which everybody fears!
What a scary poem, Owen. If I knew where that diner was, I'd be sure to avoid it!
I used to do the Jumble in my newspaper, then switched to this site and (if needed) scratch paper. But today I went back to the good old, legible newspaper. Had a momentary halt with clue word three, but once I had all four words, the solution was simple. I've decided, though, that in jumbles at least, I really prefer puns. Go figure!
Fun poem, Owen--many thanks. How are you feeling? I hope at least a little better?
Enjoyable Jumble this morning, though like Sandyanon, I too had to work a little to get the third item. But, yes, the solution was pretty clear, especially after I put the second word in place. But I have no complaints about a Jumble that I don't have to look up but can do on my own. So, to quote Wilbur--Woohoo!

Owen has once more struck the right note.
I did this sans newspaper. I originally thought that if I could do them visually and quickly I'd go ahead .
And I did. But....
I could hardly read the riddle but when I saw bowling ...TADA . Woohoo.
I'm going to repost my FLN I just posted re. The Sunday 6*6

No poem from Owen on the Corner so far. If he's saving energy for the Jumble, at least, that means he's not too ill -- I hope.
I'm holding good thoughts for you, Owen. Please be well.
Oh horror! Will Wilbur have to become a pinch poet? I'll have to practice in here
I actually thought that haiku some weeks back was pretty good.
