There are several other Jumble blogs, but the ones I checked all started off by listing the answers. In this blog, answers can be either hinted at or masked by burying them in comments. No overt spoilers!

The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.

I went ahead with the jumble; the solution does seem rather simple and straightforward. The 6-letter clues took a little thought, but came around. I really hope Owen is able to let someone know how he is doing.
Well, it is worrisome not to see Owen on the Corner or here this morning. I too will pray that he is okay. Maybe you can help me, Sandyanon. I thought I got all four words with letters RIRNTOO. Did I get that right? If so, I'm still having trouble getting the solution. Any hints or suggestions?
Yep, Misty, those are the letters. The solution? It's an inexact homophone. Maybe it sounds more precise to a kid who's raised here in SoCal. Awesome, dudes! ~ OMK

Kinda rhymes with "What? My pawn?"
DeleteMisty, think of metal.
ReplyDeleteAnd spoil, as in food.
ReplyDeleteI hope Owen is taking our advice about resting one or two days a week. This is the weekend, so a good time to kick back.

I sat down at Winn Dixie and I had to share the table. I ran through the J in 90 seconds. I tried to explain that it doesn't usually go that fast.
ReplyDeleteBut. I didn't have a chance to sub for Owen.
