  1. No poem, no limericks on the Corner, no Owen. I hope nothing is terribly wrong, maybe just a long night's sleep?

The jumble clues came easily, and the solution was not difficult with all the letters available. But I did pause after getting all three words because it just seemed a little wrong. Mixing tenses. Better as "will be delivered"? Maybe that's nitpicking, but it just sounds wrong to my ear.

  3. Well, I was looking forward to Owen's poem for help with the Jumble's third word, which I still haven't figured out. But happily I didn't need it to come up with the solution, which came to me in good time without any problems at all. Sandyanon, thank you for helping me with the fence sign yesterday. If you have any hints for the third word, I'd appreciate that too. That clock really needs an hour and a minute dial, doesn't it?

  4. Misty, I'm not great at giving clues. But I could say to set your sights on that thitd word and aim for it.

  5. Got forced into an argument with a troll on Facebook that left me too upset to write anything before I went to sleep this morning, and just waking up now. For future reference, my phone number is 9281 with a prefix of 660 in area code 505. Being deaf, only a text/SMS message will be accepted. If I haven't posted anything here, I'll most likely be asleep, so don't be worried if there's no immediate response.

  6. And I've stored your phone number in case a text is needed. Thanks.

  7. Misty, here's a hint: how do you feel about the treatment of animals? What do you think about animal shelters?

This was really easy on all counts, the unscramble and the solve. Sandyanon, I have no trouble with the tense only because it's a common enough phrase. If I scrutinize it further, I might have.

Because of my problems with sleep I sometimes solve the J very late ate at night so posting is not an option.

Owen, I'm sorry to hear you had an upsetting altercation. Sometimes letting go is a good option. Feel better, please.

  8. Lucina were you referring to the third clue word or the fourth when you mentioned animal shelters? The fourth, I imagine.

  9. Sandy's hint was good for the 3rd word. If it didn't work for you, Misty, maybe I'll be schleppin' along to step in and beckon my rhyming muse for some extra help...?

  10. Oh, I'm sorry Misty, you wanted the third word! I'm up in arms with myself!

  11. Lucina, your hint was actually lovely for the fourth word--but I did get that one. I finally just looked up the third word--not my favorite object, especially when mean, aggressive people have it in hand. But I appreciate the offers of help--thank you all. And so glad you're okay, Owen, and so happy you checked in with us. And thank you, Sandyanon for your offer to help right away.
