The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.
Comments are welcomed!
Do not explicitly reveal any of the actual answer words until after closing time, but embedding them surreptitiously in comment sentences is encouraged.
A lovely J4 illustration. Thank you, Owen!
ReplyDeleteI get a kick out of this sort of precious work. A prince as good as his name.
I think of Fragonard's colors & delicacy, filtered through a Victorian sensibility. Arthur Rackham? Or not dark enough...?

In a poetic funk. I want to write about the sparkle a chocolate drink brings, the Incan and/or Aztec custom of reserving it for their leaders, deeming it sacrilege for commoners, and the magically soporific effect it supposedly has. But it's just not flowing. I'm sorry.
ReplyDeleteAlso, as of this writing, none of the Sunday Jumble sites I've tried has a J6 up. I'll keep looking thru the day.
UPDATE: Some online J6 have come on, but with the solution line truncated. It should be 3 words, 4,4,(the),9. That's 17 letters total, not just the 14 shown online.
ReplyDeleteNEW UPDATE: I've reconstructed the J6 correctly, but as happened last week, Blogspot for unknown reasons won't let me post both on the same page, so it's on the next page.
