The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.
Comments are welcomed! And couching them in Poetry is definitely NOT required.
Do not explicitly reveal any of the actual answer words until after closing time, but embedding them surreptitiously in comment sentences is encouraged.

Wilbur, did you happen to tell Archie what time to do this? I waited for an hour past posting time, and when there was no sign of any activity, went ahead and set up a fresh day myself. Using these blurry images, it took me less than 5 minutes, and I bet I can do it in less than 1 minute if I'm challenged. The puzzle becomes available at 11 PM Mountain Time, and I try to get it up just after 12 Midnight.
ReplyDeleteOwen, he had a long day. I'll check on him.

"Romance"
ReplyDeleteAfter a visit to his mosque
he met a girl at the kiosk.
She was beautiful and modest
and he saw her as his goddess.
She was there all alone,
as unique as a clone,
and she made his heart gyrate
at an extraordinary high rate.
He bought her a lovely locket
which made her heart sky-rocket.
And so for six great months they dated
and last week they were blessedly mated.
Took me forever to get this--I should have paid attention to your hint, OMK.

ReplyDeleteYour piece today is a very smooth read!
I think it a classic.

WC ~ And I believe Wordle had SMOTE (or SMITE?) recently.
ReplyDeleteIsn’t that right?

Loved your wedding haiku too, Ol' Man Keith).
ReplyDeleteThank you, Misty.
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe we are all in favor of "natural cloning."
(Regardless of our position vis-à-vis "Dolly" the ewe.)

Loved your Romance Misty.
Omk, smote/smite sounds familiar but wordle leaves my brain as fast as it goes in.
ReplyDeleteOutside of trying to fit clone into a poem about romance Misty indeed composed an entertaining, readable tale
With her trademark happy ending.
Owen, it's been another long day for Archie but he might give it a try about 2am EDT
30 minutes until wordle
