  2. Wilbur, did you happen to tell Archie what time to do this? I waited for an hour past posting time, and when there was no sign of any activity, went ahead and set up a fresh day myself. Using these blurry images, it took me less than 5 minutes, and I bet I can do it in less than 1 minute if I'm challenged. The puzzle becomes available at 11 PM Mountain Time, and I try to get it up just after 12 Midnight.

Note it took three tries at middle letter: W,D,V

I had SMOTED for #3 today. Riddle-solution was easy if I played with it longer.

  4. "Romance"

After a visit to his mosque
he met a girl at the kiosk.
    She was beautiful and modest
and he saw her as his goddess.
    She was there all alone,
    as unique as a clone,
and she made his heart gyrate
    at an extraordinary high rate.

He bought her a lovely locket
    which made her heart sky-rocket.
And so for six great months they dated
and last week they were blessedly mated.

  6. That was all the hint I had, Misty, and you saw how it worked for me.

Your piece today is a very smooth read!
    I think it a classic.

  7. WC ~ And I believe Wordle had SMOTE (or SMITE?) recently.
    Isn’t that right?

  9. Thank you, Misty.

Yes, I believe we are all in favor of "natural cloning."
(Regardless of our position vis-à-vis "Dolly" the ewe.)

  11. Omk, smote/smite sounds familiar but wordle leaves my brain as fast as it goes in.

Outside of trying to fit clone into a poem about romance Misty indeed composed an entertaining, readable tale

    With her trademark happy ending.

Owen, it's been another long day for Archie but he might give it a try about 2am EDT

    30 minutes until wordle
