  1. Today’s Jumble haiku:

    The Flash speed upends
    any sinful villain in
    a DC sitcom.

  2. The “Me Too” Era

    The sitcom star
    Had his career upended
    By a sinful deed
    That belied his usual character.
    The flash of the camera
    Caught him in the act,
And was sufficient to convict him.

  3. "Saucy Sit-com"

The sinful sitcom earned much cash
and became wildly popular in a flash.
The network did not want to suspend it
but moral critics did their best to upend it.
Its popularity was sufficient in the end
that its ratings over the top it did send.

  4. I'm back! Bet ya didn't even notice I've been offline for a couple days. My charger broke and I had to wait until a friend ordered me a new one online, and have it sent express.

  5. Sorry to be mum most of the day.
Just feeling under the weather. <-- Isn't that a great expression? Means I'm not especially sick, but feeling my metabolism is kinda slow.
Too bad. Today is Twelfth Night, which used to be my favorite holiday of the Christmas season.
And we used to give a big party, for friends, faculty, and students. We don't do that anymore.

Hey, maybe that's why I'm feeling kinda down...
