  1. Dear Owen,
    my gray hairs are showin’.

    Hey, Wilbur,
    don’t let me bewilder
you; it’s time now to rest
    from our various texts.

    Misty,
    I’m all tense & twisty;
    perhaps an “island break” (Barbadian?)
    would heal me, Eh, Canadian?

    We’ve been churning out poems in excess;
now I’m feeling the need for egress.
I’ll want more than an hour
    to regain my power.
I’ll call one whole day of “Recess!

I see WC posted his W last night. I went through all those letters and ran out of guesses to get the correct one.

  3. OMK- I was censored by the AI today when I put a comment under my Wordle
    Post.
I will separate it out and post again.

  4. "Business Recovery"

The utopia was in a locale
    inside a vacant mall.
    Investors had the illusion
that their budget might create a fusion
    that would let them restore
    the mall once more.

    Like a hopeful urchin
    they busily went searching
for a plan a cut above the rest
    in which they could invest--
a decision which turned out blessed.

The mall is once again thriving
    and the utopia is surviving.

  5. A Rut above the Crest

    What a utopian locale,
    Pure poetry in motion,
A fusion of sky and ocean.
    Moon snails by the canal,
    Sea urchins in the sand,
    Turtles birthed on land.

    Warning:
    Your budget will be drowned,
    Should your ATV get stuck
In that vacant lot with muck,
    Just over the dune’s crown.

  6. Hi Misty- it looks like just the two of us today. Happy Sunday!
OMK needs an island break. I would be glad to escape our cold and snow too.
But I have to imagine that beautiful sand dune today.

Your poem nicely used all the J words and answer showing how a group of investors put their heads together to come up with a business lan that would resurrect that mall. With online shopping more prevalent, many of our malls are having business woes. We even have some proposals to build apartments on the unused parking lot areas.

  7. Thanks OMK for hauling my post out of the trash.
You can see that AI doesn’t like me adding anything under my Wordle post. But WC seems to have no problem that way - see his late past yesterday.
I was joking about my Canadian U’s.

  8. Nice to get your delightful Sunday message, Ol' Man Keith. Hope you had a pleasant and cheerful day, and a good week ahead.

Nice to see your Wordle today, CanadianEh!, followed by your lovely poem. Did you know that I have a 60+ year old turtle named "Gophie" (species 'Gopherus Agassisi'--however that's spelled). My late husband Rowland got her when he was 22 years old and he passed away in 2015 at the age of 81. So Gophie has been with the family for a long time, and may survive me since I gather they can live close to 100 years old. So, if Gophie weren't in hibernation right now, she'd love your verse about "Turtles birthed on land."

So glad you checked in today since it is just the two of us. Let's hope we get a bigger crew again tomorrow and all next week.
