Sometimes it’s nothing short of uncanny
    even for a fortune-telling Pakistani,
    to stumble on a W-word like N…..!

  2. Today’s Jumble haiku:
(This marine predator may not realize what it has unless it follows the sound and…)

    “(O)Beys the Roar(s)”

    A rhino salad’s
    not viable, (Hark!) unless
    you’re a dreaming shark.

  4. "Rhino Story"

While enjoying a drink and a salad,
    Betty composed a unusual ballad.

It was a story about a poor rhino
found in a park by a wandering wino.
A rhino is not a viable pet
and made sounds as if saying "Free me.
Living here alone has me upset.
A fancy zoo would be much more dreamy."

The wino saw it was time to raise the bar,
and put the rhino in a cage attached to his car
and took him to a nearby zoo,
which made the rhino bark "Woohoo!"

  5. Phoenix. A bit saucier than my norm, eh? It's my birthday, I guess a l'ick implying a birthday suit is appropriate?

  6. WooHoo, Misty, WooHoo!
Your rhino story (via Betty) shows inter-species compassion, a winning tale in which the poor wino rose above usual expectations & managed to get the critter to a zoo. Presumably, a fancy zoo would be like the well-run organizations, like the Tampa Zoo, those I watch on TV that take excellent care of their wards.
I believe it is the TampaZoo where I saw the baby rhino that is so dear you’d think it might actually make an outstanding pet! If only it wouldn’t grow so!!

Happy Birthday, Owen! You certainly deserve to be a bit risquรฉ today. Your short number gives us all a mild kick in the serotonin.

Glad to be of service, Wilbur ~ I think today’s W is the sort that you either hit by chance or really have to plug away at. It is a simple word, yet feels unlikely for Wordle.

  7. A triple letter is rare enough, but a non-vowel makes it even moreso.

  8. Misty, your wino saves RHINO poem was superlative.

Speaking of risquรฉ my 3rd guess was PANTY

Wow Google put an accent argument on the E in RISQUE

    But not when all caps
