  1. Today’s Jumble haiku:
(Some fans go all out for their stars,
demanding a super-loyalty from everybody they meet.
Some say they have stardust in the eyes and are programmed to respond…)

    Luxe! Do Kowtow!

    The crabby cabby
    upends his fare; he insists
    the man swoon for Cher!

  3. Although I think the world of thee,
I fear our love could never be!
    You swirl clockwise,
    I twirl counterclockwise.
What a tangled whorl we'd see!

  4. "Home Help"

    Susan's home was pretty shabby
which made her unhappy and a bit crabby.
She then met a guy who conducted a band
and he kindly offered to lend her a hand.

He remodeled her home, but did nothing upend,
and to thank him, she did a present send.
And he, in turn, did gently insist
that he needed to thank her with a kiss.

They now live together and Susan does swoon,
and tells him she loves him, over the moon.

  5. Woohoo! Woohoo! I got the Wordle on my first try. Thank you for the great clue, Ol' Man Keith, and you too, Owen:

  6. Interesting haiku, OMK. So if a cab driver gets into an argument with a client because they disagree about a movie star, can he evict him in the middle of nowhere, or in the middle of town? Surely not?

I liked your swirl, twirl, and whorl, Owen.

Wilbur, Ol' Man Keith and Owen offer you their Wordle hints long before the crack of dawn. So you could check them out before you post yours--might be a huge help. It certainly is for me.

Hope you're still having a wonderful birthday celebration with family today, CanadianEh!.

  7. Misty, exactly vice versa. I take great care not to see any hints. My fav way of starting is with a J but it can't have an E

So today I tried MOUND, nada. Then an old bot favorite CRATE. That eliminated all vowels except I. And gave me R.

I tried RISKY and thought for awhile and gave it a WHIRL.

So I had fun solving. YMMV

  9. You are welcome, Misty!
Glad you didn’t go for SWIRL first. I fretted that that could happen.

  10. Thanks again, OMK.

    Owen, thanks for reminding me.

Wilbur, thanks for explaining your process, and, by all means, do it your way. Your Wordles will always be great!

So glad you're having a good day celebrating, CanadianEh!. And get a good night's sleep.
