  1. ”Ahem (Cough!)”

No, it’s not the drama of crime stuff!
It’s just time, I’d say, for a prime quaff
of tequila, or maybe of scotch; a sublime scoff,
    against working!
    It’s a Sunday rhyme doff-
ing, while your Ol’ Keith takes his Time Off!

  2. Sherlock Holmes, as played by Rathbone,
Never showed anger, to rage never flown.
    No fear of a wraith
    Ever showed on his face.
He was as stoic as if he hadn't a bone!

  3. Orijinz:
    We named our kitty Puddy-Tat.
He roamed the yard outside our flat.
    He stalked titmice.
    We belled him (twice!)
That's why there was no tit for Tat!

  4. It was market day when I got there,
    The Utopia of human dreams.
Booths were set up all over the square,
With both sellers and buyers it teems.

Sans haggling, no deal went unanswered.
I noted this as an oddity.
I asked a merchant how it was standard.
All prices are set by the king, said he.

The booths were peaceful and calm,
I'd gotten used to bustle and noise.
I embarked to visit the source of this balm,
To get acquainted with this king so wise!

Cooperating, no need to pounce on each other,
Standard prices made Utopians better than bettors!

  7. In a utopian society,
No one would be a square or an oddity.
How have we gotten to this state
When we pounce on anyone who is fair bait?
We need to embark on a new journey
    And get better acquainted surely.

  8. "Happy Home"

Sally lived in the suburb, but she had a pair
of mid-town friends who lived in the square.
The place was an oddity with lots of things to see,
so, on a lark, she decided to embark
to the home of her friends
which turned out to be a lark.

    Soon Sally with her friends
    had gotten better acquainted
and soon together, their house they painted.
This new place was a utopia for Sally,
and she soon found an apartment
where from now on she would dally.
