As I write, it’s Christmas Eve,
ReplyDeleteno time for any to disbelieve,
but to pave the way
for Christmas Day
by reminding you, Hey!
I’ll be at play.
I wish all well,
as you raise the fuss
& ring a bell
for Christuh’mas!
May your postings all be winners,
not the scratching of beginners,
but replete with heav’nly glimmers,
ere you sit for Christmas dinners!

Got stuck inside
The tuba's mighty bell, Oy vey!
"Christmas Presents"
ReplyDeleteLast Christmas, buying his wife a kitten
turned out to be a fiasco--
within minutes she was bitten,
making her spirits low with woe.
A new aspect was needed this year
to get her a more timely present,
and the Impala filled her with cheer,
a car so nimble, she found it most pleasant.
Now, since she is ready to retire
he got her car a new tire
and her love for him is on fire
and will never, ever expire.
