  1. Today’s Jumble haiku
    (Gesundheit! . Clean-up time: What a mess!
The good news is that both the orthodontist and the nurse managed to duck—just in the nick…)

    ”Cheer up! A Split-Second Save!”

    A soupy sneeze?! Yuck!
There may be worse gaffes in a
    dental office, but—!

  2. FLN, Misty ~ Thank you for your returned toast! Much appreciated!

CEh! ~ Your evoking of Wordle via that call upon “Bad spellers if the world” is doubly hilarious! It gave me a great laugh.

  3. The city worker was tasked to make the walkways safe for tourists coming to admire the Canada Geese.

    Slick Pond Seconds

    He couldn’t make a dent,
All the birds stopped to chirp and vent.
The shore was a soupy mess,
    They created so much excess.
He had to sneeze - oh my yes.
“Go on You” he cried in distress.

  4. OMK- when I started to read your back story, I thought we might be doing the same cleanup. But you went in the J word direction, while I let the W frame my thoughts. I love how you used a variation of the C word in your title.

    Glad yesterday’s W comment brought a smile.

  5. "Dental Care"

    Daisy's procedure was dental
and the doctor was very gentle.
He told her soup she should slurp,
advice that did not make her chirp.

The next days were not a breeze
and the chicken soup made her sneeze.
This was not a split second healing,
but her teeth were soon bright and appealing.

  7. CEh! We were definitely engaged in different kinds of cleanup. Definitely.
(See below: I appreciate your W hint:)

    🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩!
    ... and then I read
    your clever verse.

  8. Misty ~ I am inclined to believe we are in a Lewis Carroll world--with chicken soup that makes us sneeze!
Please ask your Daisy if she ever goes by the name of Alice.

  9. OMK- wow, you got the W in one. I guess it was a great clue.

Misty- hoorah for gentle dentists, and bright and appealing teeth - the reward after persevering through a long and probably painful recovery.
