Dell had an urge to be close to the land. Alas, there was very little farmer in Dell. He gouged out the earth and seeded by hand. Planted squash and zucchini, which grew too well!
He couldn't give them away, even in gift boxes -- Got in dutch with one hazmat was called to defuse! He tried growing noodles when he fell for hoaxes. Next an aqua-culture idea thru his mind did diffuse.
A fish farm grabbed him, hook, line, and sinker. He hauled water like a drudge, "What ho, Gunga Din!" But that attempt, too, proved to be a stinker. Even fast-food joints said his guppies were too thin!
Wow, the cw was a toughie for me today, so I was glad to see a simple jumble. Owen, I believe that "What ho, Gunga Din" is my very favorite of all your ingenious rearrangements since the beginning. Look forward to your creativity every day.
Fun poem, Owen, and there they all were! I was really excited about this Jumble--even made me hungry for soup tonight. Not sure if I'm up for gardening though.
Anagram has always been my worst word weakness; often takes me much staring, cogitating, and writing out all possible combinations to get even the simple ones. But this time I got lucky: everything just appeared to me. So how in the world are these things (on the uclick site) scored? I finished this one in 1:58, but only scored 730 of a possible 1,450!

I glanced at the J_ before heading to the Saturday torture chamber . #1 held me up because I got it mixed up with it's sister from a few days back .
But I wanted to save the J_ in case I needed to pull a Misty eg Quit the X and do the J to recogitate.
Btw, FLN Sandy my final X was indeed a sty. One word I had to rewrite at the top because it was so messy.
I had to arrange and rearrange the letters to get the riddle. We had USMC next door recently and something else which I've forgotten .
