FLN, I posted my last missive late yesterday.

Todayโs Jumble haiku:
(To all who insist on decoding an innocent verse, No, this one does not contain a reference to โmore virus.โ
It is merely an instruction in flower-arranging, thank you very much!
It is definitely NOT aโฆ)
โPun, Narrow-Spelledโ
Letโs annex that mauve
iris into my floral
bouquet. How placid!
~ OMK
The greenhouse was gorgeous, full of flowers!
One could wander in there for hours!
And in an annex grew
Veggies that could make a stew!
In amongst this placid place,
With floral beauties full of grace,
One could smell such strong perfume
It could almost cause a swoon!
Experiments were going on
A truly black black rose to spawn.
It was a problem still to solve.
So far was only a deep deep mauve.
It was a quest unparalleled.
Other black roses simply smelled!
New York was once New Amsterdam
It never knew a traffic jam
Those years ago
New York woe
Was smart dame, its anagram!
Still AWOL. Enjoying reading you all for a quick break.
Thanks again
"Good Move"
Annie moved into her annex,
along with her puppy Rex.
The place was quiet and placid
and gave her life a new facet.
The walls were mauve and coral
and the garden was lovely and floral.
The move was an unparalleled gift
from which Annie will never shift.
Owen outdoes himself these days,
in humorous verse, like todayโs mixture
of New Amsterdam as a wise old lady,
inspiring meโas a fellow trickster.
My dear devi & her guru mate
offer lessons to our asana circle.
They call their BโnB a โYoga Inn,โ
anagramming our Saturday Wordle.

I'm glad, Misty, to approve
of Annie and Rex,
and their happy move
to their annex, next.
Not every re-lo
ends so happily.
Leave it to you, though,
t'assure closure, affably!

Ol' Man Keith,
What a gift from you today,
a lovely poetic bouquet.
And you went on to hire us
a florist who grew us an iris.
Your gift was both placid and kind
and will always be kept in our mind.
Owen
I visited your magic place
and did its beauty and grace embrace.
Its fragrance gave us all some magic,
and the black rose did not make it tragic.
You are a poet of the highest score
and your gift could not be admired more.
Wilbur, we miss you
and CanadianEh!,
how great you checked in
with us today.
Greek playwrights had the Agon--
easily summarizing arguments--
w/o recourse to dodo or dragon,
allowing each side's wisest sense.
Owen debates the virtues of flowers,
giving aesthetic values their due,
seeking to breed olfactory powers
in deep-dark roses, the blackest of hue.
The former leave conclusions to kings & queens,
the latter allows inconclusivity.
Between tragic fate and botanic genes,
a lot of motion, but no viability.
~ OMK
Dear CEh!
You're not AWOL,
but merely AW-L
for your surely have leave.
And we all hope you are well!
