Todayโs Jumble haiku:
(The small town had two cinemasโthe Metro & the Grove. Neither ran anything on time. The former always started 5 to 10 minutes behind announced start times, and the latter was often later.
Otto Clunk, Jr. loved movies and hoped to work at one of the theatersโฆ)
โOtto, Correct Time?โ
Was Junior tardy?
The Grove still accepted him
for an usherโs job.

Going thru life, don't miss it all.
Sniff the roses, play whiffle ball,
Whistle happy tunes,
Try to catch the Moon.
Do it young, before the autumn leaves fall.
Sammy was late yet again.
His tardiness was an issue.
He'd run late since he didn't know when,
And planes and trains said, "We'll miss you."
But as he rose from his junior rank,
Coworkers had to then accept him!
He blamed his auto, named "the Tank",
And promised he'd make correction.
To meditate, Sammy often drove
Into the country to contemplate.
There in a private, cloistered grove,
He'd think his thoughts -- till he was late!
Still absent with leave,
But I do believe
That things are improving,
And I will be moving
Back to more normal life
Minus the woes and strife;
By next week I hope.
"Success"
The junior was a smarty
who never got stuck in a grove.
He was punctual and never tardy
and into new fields often dove.
When offered a chance to edit
the job he did accept
and it earned him a great deal of credit
and professional respect.
And so the junior became an editor,
able to autocorrect,
and to juniors he serves as a creditor
and they consider him very adept.
and now to juniors serves as a creditor.
But the author of "Success"
ends her verse in a bit of a mess.
Misty, unlike my tardy Junior
yours always gets there sooner.
And the โjuniorsโ over whom heโs editor
must be grateful heโs no predator.
Donโt beat yourself up for the messy ending;
be grateful pals ainโt de-friending.

โฆso good to see you can cope!
Love your rhymes, CanadianEh,
and your Wordle rates more than a sniff.
You really make my frabjous day;
In perhaps a jiff, youโll get a full-bodied โ!

CEh!, wow! You eliminated 14 letters on your way to a solve (15 if U also eliminated Q). Over half the alphabet! What a brilliant technique!
I eliminated 10 before getting the scent of

I started this morning but was away all day and just noticed my first two guesses had no scent of success
