I just now finished the riddle-solution for Sunday which helped a bit with NINETY(A late age for getting puches but the lunches will help ease the pain)

WC- difficult Wordle today. I smiled at your “wore myself out”.
OMK- I decided not to use the J reveal in my title. The W sent me in a different direction. Your haiku hid the B word well. And I loved those “pretty knots”.

Kathy's kindness was the basis
for her many social graces.
The goals of her charity were lofty
with contributions to the city.
People considered her a softy
because her frequent donations were pretty.
This Spring Kathy sponsored a play,
and all the actors shouted "Hurray!"

Some very neat verses today from Misty & CEh!
The latter deals with a gender bender the old-fashioned way, disguising her sex through costume.
Let’s hope it works!
The former tells of Kathy, whose munificence endows her city with lofty projects, including a play*.
Now, if she supports a baseball team, maybe she can solve the latter’s problem!

Misty- Kathy’s generosity is to be admired, and her “pretty donations” must be very attractive. OMK has a great idea for Kathy to sponsor a girls’ baseball team, so my lass can finally get to bat. (I am having trouble finding that second B word in your poem! Is it well-hidden?)
Yes OMK- you can see that I struggled to get that F. I was making dog sounds in guess 4, and then was in an old-fashioned kitchen cupboard with guess 5. Both our first guesses returned no reward today.
Woohoo! I haven't done a Wordle in a while, but my heart went out to all of you when I saw how tough today's game seemed to be, and figured I would join you all in the tough time you've been having. And so it was a total surprise to me that my silly words got it for me on my third try.
My apology for not joining you a bit better. I'm sure I'll not be able to do this again for months!

Misty’s 2nd B word may be hidden backstage—or overhead—at the play Kathy sponsored.
The most frequently heard use of that word in the world of theater is for the long horizontal bars that hold painted scenic backdrops that go up and down in the “fly gallery” above and behind the stage.
Maybe she was thinking of those…?

I'll try to batten down all the Jumble words a bit better tomorrow so that I can do a better job with my verse and with my comments. You can only do what you can do every day.
