[Misty ~ Nice and easy for you! My poem now has ONLY ONE 5-letter word.
No work required.]
Today’s Jumble haiku:
(In some classical lore, blueberries in abundance could thwart a foe’s anger and ignite affection.
Imagine today’s poem as a still life of such power, appearing to viewers perhaps as they’ve come to the end of a path and…)
“Turned a Lane”
A bunch of berries
puddled up, abating hate,
awakening love.

"Caring Couple"
When Wendy one morning did awaken
she smelled the rich odor of cooked bacon.
Her husband was a most generous mate,
and the years his kindness did not abate.
On this morning they did cuddle,
and he later fixed a puddle.
His wife then went to the dairy
and came home with a cake of strawberry.
As a married couple they had learned their trade
and a loving partnership together they made.
Ol' Man Keith, your couple clearly also loved their berries.
And so thank you so much for your helpful Wordle hint this morning.

Gave me a happy start to my day.
LADE (LakersAllDayEveryday) is the largest Lakers fan community in the world, created by Aron Cohen in 2013. This poem documents a fan’s reaction to a 2018 season rookie cut.
Turned a LADE
His enthusiasm would not abate,
He awakened each day to await
The latest blog about his favourite bunch.
Those LA Lakers were in a crunch;
His idol, Joel Berry II, would be put on waiver,
Now all his hopes began to quaver.
This loss drowned his dreams in a puddle,
Leaving his life in a terrible muddle.
I’m late getting back to the party today.
OMK- what an imaginative still life you created with those berries puddling*.
It was difficult to Spoon the title today. We were close.l
I got the W into my poem, but had to resort to a name for one of the J words.
Misty- your couples are always so romantic and ideal. Any husband who cooks bacon for his wife in the morning is sure to get a cuddle and a strawberry cake in return. I’m not sure what the response should be to fixing a puddle*; I have never had that done for me. Oh wait - maybe the last time the shower overflowed! Anyway, your couple seem to be well-adjusted partners.
*that P word seemed to create all sorts of uses today!
Wendy & hubby enjoy a most compatible life, Misty. It is a shame too many RL couples do not seem to have managed such a mutually rewarding balance!
It just takes a little more attention to the other’s care to find out how richly it may be repaid.
(Plus, you share in the fruits of your own labor.
Mmm, I can hear that bacon sizzling now…)
I had no idea, CEh! ~ that there was such an enclave of Lakers’ fans. Where? In Canada?
It does provide a near perfect Spoonerism for you.
Sadly, its presence hasn’t turned out so happily for your young enthusiast.
Sorry his hopes have been so dashed…

OMK, thank you again for your delightful verse and your very kind comments on mine. Much appreciated.
Owen, it would be wonderful to see the Words behind that colorful Wordle of yours this morning. Thanks for posting it, even if only in pictorial form.
CanadianEh!, so sorry that your baseball fan's life turned into such a muddle. Makes me a little grateful that I'm not into sports. And thank you, too, for not minding my 'puddle'. Drowning one's dreams in a puddle is a much better choice than one you have to fix and clean up.
