Todayโs Jumble haiku:

FLN, I may have picked the wrong day off, as everybody seemed to need it yesterday.

Letโs not give into vice;
we know darn well itโs not nice.
We donโt even have to think twice.

"Recovery"
Albert was a low-grade achiever
who became ill with a fever.
He found it difficult to budge
and so his recovery was a sludge.
But karate was a good source
for helping him to regain some force.
He's now woven a whole new course,
and does exercise endorse.
Ol' Man Keith, I just had to make sure you weren't just joshing me with your fun recommendation:

But I agree with you: vice isn't nice.
Misty, I think my point was that you'd have liked doing yesterday's more. (An "insider's" reference.)
That said, I almost liked my haiku today as much as yesterday's. Almost.
Your Albert seems to have found karate to be a health-enhancing gesture, or rather a series of gestures, perhaps like Tai Chi. I wonder if that isn't an actual justification for many who practice it...?
I can't imagine one could perform it without getting jolted out of the sludge stage--just like your endorsing Albert!

OMK, I have to confess that I feel like an idiot not getting yesterday's Wordle.
Your verse made it so obvious, and on top of that I live in Laguna Beach. That should have helped, too, shouldn't it? Well, sorry I didn't manage it until just now. I'll try to do better tomorrow.
Fresh jigsaw puzzle Clouds . You can now select number of pieces, but have to come back to 30 to leave a comment.
Prufrock would surely understand your feeling, Misty. He spends his maturing years constantly seeking assurances that he still has a role.
I am sure you have more confidence than the old boy, although it is hard to tell how much of his shakiness is put on. ("Shall I part my hair behind?")
He releases some of the pressure on him by settling for a featured part rather than a starring role ("No, I am not Prince Hamlet--nor was meant to be!"), but he still aims to be part of the show. (".. am an attendant lord... perhaps the Fool.")

Go Frayed Lever
Rid the sludge from that old car
It is old and has gone far.
Spice up your life
(No, not your wife!).
Repair the worn fabric lift
Woven into that antique gearshift.
Force may be needed on that Buggati
Try some moves from your karate.
Late to the party after a busy, tiring day with the grands. I didnโt get my poem posted this morning as it had no rhyme. I like your title better than mine OMK.
Albert poem is great Misty.
Enjoyed you all.
Owen- I did the puzzle in 3:48 in my exhausted state. Beautiful photo and poem. I like the โraining -reigningโ
OMK, thank you for your very kind comment--made me feel better and I appreciated it!
And I liked your haiku and verse today.
So great to see you back with both a spicy Wordle and a neat verse, CanadianEh!. Loved your rhyme of Buggati and karate. Just looked up Buggati and it does indeed appear to be an automobile. Hope you continue to have fun with your grandchildren.
Miss you poem, Owen.
Hope you continue to recover, Wilbur.
See you tomorrow, everybody.
I will miss Wilbur like crazy. Bye, Bill.
