An iguana lives its whole life prone;
A hermit is prone to live all alone!

One may store things up in the attic;
Store prices go up in ways erratic!

A gauzy dress may feel light as air;
Putting on airs, one dresses with flair!

I'm impressed by the economy of today's poem, Owen. Your ability to condense, to unite a disparate group of words in such a pithy manner, is amazing.

Wild ducks & domestic dogs are creatures of habit. I am not sure when those Jumble ducks will reach their goal, but I know that every night after their supper, our two smaller dogs repair to my wife's LaZ-Boy rocker to await her arrival. There is something comforting in the view, reminding me of their sense of warmth & security, as I eye those pups in her chair.

Er, geese.

Missed Monday, but here for an easy Tuesday. Clues were easy, though the third one took a minute. And the solution came even before the clues. I thought the cartoon and the pun were cleverly aligned.

Yes, the poem's rhyming couplets included everything in a concise and funny way.

Totally delightful poem, Owen--loved seeing all the words included in such an economical way. Like Sandyanon, I too got the Jumble solution before I had the fourth word, which gave me a bit of trouble. The solution gave me the missing letters and that gave me the loner in Owen's poem. Loved seeing those geese in color, with that lovely ray of sun in the water. And your punning on the solution always cracks me up, Ol'Man Keith. By the way, you're missed by some of our crossword friends, who are wondering how you're doing. Nice to have people caring, isn't it?

No it only #4 but #3 too were a mystery. The Riddle-Solution not so. With the missing letters I was able to suss the J's.

Ducks? Geese? A little of both.

Is no comment good news OMK?

I didn't get my hands on the TBTimes until 7 o'clock last night. Perhaps I'll take a GANDER at it.
