The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.

Do not explicitly reveal any of the actual answer words until after closing time, but embedding them surreptitiously in comment sentences is encouraged.

This is a test - because I've been having trouble signing on. The "Choose an identity" options at the bottom of the page no longer show Ol' Man Keith. I tried using Google account at the end of yesterday's postings, and when I entered my password, I rec'd a screen denying me access to this blog because it was deemed suspicious!
I ended up yesterday posting under Name/URL.
I'll try Google once more, hoping it will somehow restore my Ol' Man Keith ID.
Let's see if it works.
NO! I was told once again, "Google couldn't sign you in."
I am opting now for the Name/URL choice.

He was used to demonstrating, to a good protest march.
When any of his favored groups put out the call to exercise his freedom of speech, he would be there.
And he always managed to get himself to the front of the crowd, reckoning in advance just how many pushes it would take to squeeze himself from the middle to the front.
For the current march, with the new factor of "social distancing," he found it took fewer shoves than planned to work his way forward!
No justice, no peace!!

So sorry to hear about your signing in problem, Ol'Man Keith? Hope you can get help to work it out. But glad you were able to come anyway, we couldn't do without you, especially on this morning.
So this time I started with the Jumble cartoon and the answer came instantly to mind, I thought. But once I filled in all the answers, the second and third word didn't work, and I had to adjust it. Looked forward to seeing all the words in Owen and Wilbur poems, but guess that will come later. But we did get the treat of your very funny gloss (not a spoonerism, right?), Ol'Man Keith. Many thanks for that.
Have a good weekend, everybody!
Was this difficult, neigh, neigh. I finally dreamed up a poem and posted late FLN. It reflects my take on how gossip, rumors - all "in camera" can alter or even control ones destiny and the victim never even knows.
Also. OMK, you must have thought you were safely in the Jumble to post that POTUS crack. But you merely were "moderated" my follow up (referring to the previous post about CNN/MSNBC= bad; WSJ=good) was deleted.
c my "jevvie" remark on CC today.

OMK, is "in camera" used in the entertainment genre you were familiar with?
Well, at least my lap top allows me to post with my OMK avatar!
Here's what happened. I have a brand new iMac. It doesn't recognize my long established names and passwords but reminds me that I have a long-ago assigned Google identity. (I don't choose the Google path, but "they" choose for me.) I re-charge my iPad using a link from my desktop, so my poor iPad (which I use when posting late night in bed) has had its information zapped by the ignorant new machine.
My laptop, an old MacBook, stands separate from the others, so my old data and IDs are protected--through isolationism.
Anyway, this explains why my iPad now uses my Google ID instead of "Ol' Man Keith."
None of this explains why Google refuses to deal with this blog site.
I ended up having to sneak in via the Name/URL route.
Wilbur ~ No, I can't say "in camera" has any special meaning for theatrical work.
