I figured the way to take a Day Off is not to not even look at the new Jumble before declaring my “holiday.”
So that’s what I’m doing now.
I’m not lookin’ at the letters,
but’ll leave ‘em to my betters.

"Wall Art"
When she did her scroll unroll,
Polly had reached her goal:
the art-work did beautifully sprawl
across the wall in the mall.
It functioned like an enzyme,
putting viewer's vision in line
with the colors and shapes that did shine
and create an image divine.
Shoppers in the mall on hiatus
found the art-work a plus
and made a joyful fuss
that proved her success and thus
happily served Polly's purpose.

Polly the artist is inspirational, Misty, enjoying a stretch of expression* that goes well beyond mere mortals.
Anyone who can use the chemistry of an enzyme to persuade viewers of the beauty of her art deserves all the public approval she can get.

*Although I must demur in her use of tense:
I confess I oft have written
in past perfect; I’ve been smitten
with its air that all’s well done.
But positive past tense? Ain’t no fun.
How awkward ’twas when I did write
of things "I did already sight."
Using “I did see” instead of “saw”
we should preserve for any and all
we did contraDICT—that’s all!
