Today’s Jumble haiku:

”That Wholly, Holy Gaze”

Huddle longer where
your g(l)aze is known, valid, &
appreciated.

… & MERRY CHRISTMAS!

"Gentle Gift"

Bobby ended up making a generous bid
on a Christmas gift he hoped was valid.
It was a lovely vase with a shiny glaze
that would his new bride hopefully amaze.

The gift may not have been subtle,
but it made his wife cuddle and huddle.
They then spent much of their holidays
sitting by the fire in a happy daze.

A sweet Christmas poem from our dear Misty,
serves to mark the b'day of Jesu Christi.
With it, young Bobby wins a huddle and cuddle
as he and wifey steer clear of a muddle.
The gentle love and sweet sex of a girl and boy
are as bright a way as any to share Christmas joy.

PS. I dunno why the robot isn't letting me use my Fowler Owl to sign in, but such is my fate today.
I refuse to let it get me down this sunny Christmas Day.
I shall wait until Boxing Day (the 2nd day of Christmastide) to decide whether I should box its ears.

Merry Christmas, OMK and Misty (and Sandi Anon and others who may be reading). Wonderful haiku and poem today.
I have been celebrating Christmas over several days, and more family coming tomorrow and Wednesday.

ERRATUM -
I foolishly listed the Christmas date as the 26th of December. I had Boxing Day on my mind.
I’ll repeat the date for tomorrow.

Friends!
I am having a problem, which may or may not be serious. I am diabetic, and recently my blood tests show that my hemoglobin has dropped precariously low. My doctor says I may need a transfusion. In the meantime I am taking shots of RetaCrit. They may not be working as well as I was hoping. I am nodding off frequently and forgetting things that are routine —and making simple errors, such as the erratum in the note above.
At the moment, I have forgotten how to change the date & change the page. This has been routine for years, and I have not written down how we do it. Please forgive me while I work through this. I am going to post an awkward Tuesday haiku below and try to get some sleep and rest my brain. I invite you to treat this page as the next Jumble date.

OMK- so sorry to hear about your medical issues. Hopefully things will improve quickly. In the meantime, rest and relax, and don’t worry about us here. Misty and I will just keep posting on this date, when we have a chance.
Thoughts and prayers are with you.
