I'm feeling a bit muzzy today, no poems came to mind despite all the common words. Instead, I did think of some riddles or jokes for most of them. But one escaped me even in that form. Can any of you grab on to anything for the missing word?

What's the difference between Nessie and a Yeti?
One's a hairy beast who scales mountains,
The other is a scaly beast that tourists harry.

Trump wants a big wall, but all he's likely to get is a small one, which will be known as Trump's Wallette!

How is a cup of coffee unlike a speedboat?
One helps you stay awake,
one helps you leave a wake.

They market a lazy susan for private bars. It comes in quart, fifth, or liter sizes. One wheel size is especially popular in motor homes.

Wouldn't you need this to securely catch a cache in a hatch (hutch?)? Natch?

A box with no hinges, latch or lid.
Inside a golden treasure is hid.
What am I?

I stole this; didn't make it up myself.

Answer: an egg

Sorry, Owen, but I wasn't able to latch on to anything to help you with your missing word. But thoroughly enjoyed your riddles, and Sandyanon's and Ol'Man Keith's too! This was a really fun Jumble and I actually had a little blip because when I quickly got the solution I realized that I had goofed slightly on #3 and had to go back and fix it. So all in all, with just small goofs on the puzzle and the Jumble, this isn't a bad start to the week. Have a good one, everybody!

Late as usual.

Lechers and leechers lurk looking to latch on.

Sandy, that was from the"Hobbit", eh?

Congratulations to you all for latching on to that challenge. Sandy gets the prize for best riddle, but since it wasn't original, Misty also gets a prize for originality! And Keith and Wilbur, you both tied for alliterativeness!

You all are so much fun! I love all those riddles.
The Jumble today was done in less than five minutes with the solve going in first and then the descrambling but I had to leave for my eye exam. Later (now) I realized I hadn't posted. What fun it is to have this levity within my reach.

Wow! Owen, thank you--I'm really flattered!
