Of a series of tales of glory.

Ol' Man Keith, once again, delightful haiku with the whole Jumble cleverly embedded in it. A question before I think of doing the Wordle today: what is "the other Bot starter"? For that matter, what is a "bot"? You can tell I've not yet totally caught us to our century.
Owen, I hope CanadianEh! reads your first verse. I'd love to see her response to it.
Then your second verse picks up on our knight's tale--this one acted out on stage. Now I have en even more mystified word question: what on earth is a "wyvern"? I was sure you made that word up--couldn't possibly exist--and then there it was, some" mythical two footed creature that resembles a dragon". Who knew? The things you learn on this blog: amazing!

Misty ~ At the risk of repeating an earlier answer, the "Bot" is a robot, a kind of A.I. (artificial intelligence) that can take many forms. In this, it was assigned to search out the best starting 5-letter Wordle combos.
In other words, what were the starter words most likely to lead to the right W-answer?
Two words emerged: SLATE and CRANE. Today I used SLATE. That gave me the A and T, two of the letters in today's answer.
As to your poem, I am not sure I grasp the knight's strategy. By working up a plan "that would not an opponent fool," was he, in effect, conceding the "win" to his competitor? And did that somehow endear him to the opposition?
My best guess is that neither of those outcomes would occur.
If he wanted to leave "all conflicts behind," wouldn't that be more likely if he just said so?
I mean, if he would just say, "Let's call the whole thing off," there would be a fair chance they could quit and head for a retirement village together.
But tell me, please, if I have misunderstood.
Another Question: Does CanadianEh's nationality give her a leg up in today's contest? Owen seems to think so.

I think I'd rather be a Wyvern than any other dragon-type. You get to be pretty much like a human but with wings instead of arms. Oh, and you'd be naked with greenish skin.
I think we'd be pretty able to maneuver a bod like that.
