Who realized, with the first jerky images They were seeing the birth of an industry? A infant who'd grow and spawn apendages, Movies, television, videos, streaming TV!
From those first photons lighting up the screen Writers and actors would give them a soul! Dramas would reel out, scene by scene. News makes all privy to everything global!
Hundreds of channels in living room or den, Wafting up in the airwaves each minute, To watch on our hand-helds, then re-run again! "O, Brave new world, that has such wonders in it!"
#1, #3 and #4 I got immediately. #2 I confirmed the first letter, and then it came to me. Sol, I couldn't see it. I had wrong letters in the two short words. I used hints for the first 5 letters before it struck me.
It took me the longest time to crack #3. No reason why it should have been so hard. I must give up trying to grasp why some words are harder than others. I think it's random, more a matter of one's brain rhythm than anything to do with the scrambled words.
Once I saw the available letters, the final answer was a ... breeze. ~ OMK
BTW, Owen, I enjoyed your poem. As I said before, I like to sound them aloud, and what really matters to me is the meter. Today's rhythms are clear and strong. And I appreciate your tag line, quoting The Tempest. The last role I ever played on stage was in this show. I'm seen here as Prospero, the wizard and father of Miranda who speaks the line you quote.
Well, I got 1,3, and 4, like Dave, but still haven't gotten 2 or the resolve. Slow start today.

O'Man Keith, that picture of you as Prospero looks so familiar to me, I'm pretty sure I might actually have seen that play of 'The Tempest'! Is that possible! I was at UCI from 1987 on.
Woohoo! Woohoo! I got it, thanks to Ol'Man Keith calling the answer a breeze. Many thanks! I not only got the resolve but that troublesome 2 answer as well. Yay! I feel better now.
Glad I could help, Misty! I don't know if it was at The Tempest that our paths crossed, but if you caught shows at UCI you probably either saw me or something I staged. I directed a show a year, sometimes more, on campus from 1981 through 2015, and I was on stage at regular intervals. The Tempest was in Smith Hall (formerly the Concert Hall) in January 2007.

Yes, #2 held me for awhile.
Was it a coincidence or not that Misty saw The Tempest with Keith as the Noble Prospero.
