Marooned where pirate treasure is rumoured to be buried, the survivors were
Stranded
Found stomping round isle,
Fully built wooden shelter,
No loads of money.
"Beach Treat"
Sam's cottage on a lovely strand
was grand, and therefore in much demand.
Its location was so sunny,
it brought in loads of money.
The renters along the beach did romp
and happily on the sand did stomp.
So Sam added a wooden tent
that poorer couples now can rent.
Both cottage and tent are fully occupied all year,
and his customers hold Sam's property dear.

Hello all- we managed to use the several meanings for โstrandโ.
OMK, (after being scolded the other day for not being seasonal) gives us Santa and his elves. His haiku gives Santa-lovers another side to the jolly old gentlemen. And those elves, creating honey bombs . . . ,!

Misty gives us Sam with his AirBโn B filled to capacity, and now even a wooden tent (sounds more like a yurt?)to rent for those who are poorer. Now all can stomp on the sand. LOL! Sam must be raking in the dough.
I liked the triple rhyme in the first two lines.

Ol' Man Keith, surely neither Santa nor his statue would stomp an elf? I'll keep my fingers crossed that that won't happen.
CanadianEh!, I'm glad those survivors were able to build a shelter. But I hope they'll also be able to get some food and other things for their care.
It's 10:45 here in Laguna Beach, and the weather is horrendous with massive rain, and lightning and thunder. Hopefully it will slow down and and not get even worse. But it makes it scary to go to bed, wondering if something horrendous might happen in the middle of the night. Time to intensify our evening prayer and pray for a stable night and a good morning and a better day tomorrow. Wishing you all a good night's sleep.
