Speaking of food, OMK and I are bringing you a fishy diet today. But he sticks to American soil, while my locale is more exotic.
The new math in the haiku brought a smile. No Pi in that equation, just a Curve.
"The Best Rest"
Paul didn't want to be a pest
but he needed to show
that he had to make an important request
to get his tourists out of the snow.
He had sworn that his travelers
could have a rest,
at the end of their trip, in a pagoda.
They had poise and at length did their very best
to treasure this lovely coda.
Nice rhyming title, CEh!
And a neat verse... although I'm not quite ready to dive into dolphin soup.
I dunno why I'm resisting--just because it would be eating a fellow mammal. We do it all the time. It couldn't be much different from a beef flavored broth.
Still, I resist.
Ms. Misty, I gather the pagoda was a lure to draw the gawkers from the snow. But then tour guide Paul probably found himself with a new dilemma, how to get them out of their treasured gazebo-shrine!

Loved your verses this morning, Ol' Man Keith. After all that lovely poetic work I hope you did have a chance to slurp some shrimp as a reward. And thank you for the kind comment on my verse. Maybe Paul will have to entice his group to leave the pagoda to slurp some shrimp too.
And your turning all that poise into porpoise soup might not make all the dolphins happy, CanadianEh!, but it sure made for a fun verse, with a great reverse in the title. Your zest will be much more popular than a pest.

Wonderful, wonderful verse this morning, Wilbur-- presented with a great deal of grace and poise. A lovely way to get our year off to a healthy and happy start!
A fine Verse, Wilbur, tetrameter alternating with pentameter. Was that on purpose?
