Todayโ€™s Jumble haiku:;
(Express trains, dubbed โ€œArrows,โ€ are given the right-of-way past slower trains that make all stopsโ€ฆ)

โ€œ(Steam) Rigs Flew!โ€

Incoming Arrows
whizzed by Omega locals,

Never drive a Range Rover inside.
For luxury, take a Cadillac ride!
The smell of exhaust
May be the cost
But outdoors it spreads to the countryside!

Thanks for the hint today OMK. I was stuck and out if time doing the W.
Busy Motherrโ€™s Day weekend. I may not have time to get back here.

"Home"

Their new digs were such a pleasure,
they treated them as a treasure.
The walls had a lovely siding,
and the windows were large and gliding.

The place had cost them a hefty sum,
and depleted their modest income.
But it was the omega of their dream,
an arrow that did shine and gleam,
and pleased them in the extreme.

Youโ€™re welcome, CEh!
The alternate that I skipped on the way to the W winner was ACERB. But my starter told me to include an โ€œIโ€ and one other.

Misty ~ Your domicile description reminds us that one of the major pleasures or pains of our material existence is our โ€œHome.โ€ On the way to defining life itself, we often skirt by this central facet that allows us to feel good or troubled about the rest of things. โ€œHomeโ€ and โ€œTimeโ€ are intimately entwined with โ€œFamilyโ€ and other central specifics of life.
I like how you connect Home with the โ€œomega of their dream.โ€
To describe windows as โ€œglidingโ€ is both pleasing and a bit unclear, allowing readers to enjoy it in their own way.

It has been a rough day here at home. Despite our installation of new fencing to protect our small dogs, we found a large coyote in our back yard this morning. Luckily, our pets had just come inside.
We don't know for sure HOW the predator got in (or out) but we feel entirely vulnerable now.

Ol' Man Keith, many thanks for the kind comments on my verse. I enjoyed yours too, intrigued by your Omega locals?

But I am so sorry and alarmed that you could have had a coyote come into your yard AFTER putting up a new fence precisely to protect your sweet dogs. It is hard to imagine how that is possible, but I guess the only miserable solution is to make sure that someone goes out with your dog whenever you let one in the back yard. As you probably know, both of my sweet dachshunds were taken out by coyotes, and there was no way I could safely screen my backyard so I had to give up having dogs. And I still miss them a decade later. I'll just pray that you'll be able to keep your dogs safe, and am so sorry that you have to deal with this worrisome problem.

I enjoyed your Cadillac poem, Owen.

Have a happy Mother's Day tomorrow, CanadianEh!.

And I can't believe it, but I got the Wordle, with a word I've heard of, but whose meaning I'm not sure I know. I don't think I'm a talented Wordler.

Thanks, Misty, I know you have been through this before. The only good thing this time is that we saw the interloper before he (or she) did any harm. We will be on our guard now.
But I am hoping we can find a solution that will allow our little guys to run freely again through our garden. We need to build higher than our neighborhood allows, so we must contact a bureaucrat who understands the problem & can provide a waiver regarding maximum fence heights.

Exhaust fumes would be acrid. You can smell them in a Cadillac ride
