The hippie life-style has some features that are great.
Being one with nature really feels first-rate!
Eating that granola, cutting down on processed grain
Can give a slender figure -- though famine does the same!

Yes that lifestyle can be lacking in some rudiments of life.
An income, to begin with! But if your parents did alright
Perhaps they had the sense to buy a house with spaces
That could become one of those bed and breakfast places!

So put up some signs, and make the guest-rooms pretty,
Be set to welcome tourists, come to see your scenic city.
Thanks to the Internet, advertising is a cinch today
Just don't let granola breakfasts get in ham and omlet's way!

A practical solution, Owen, to the modern problem of 30-year olds still living with their folks. Maybe we shall end up with one half of our citizenry hosting airbnbs while the other half can still afford to travel!

I just noticed the date: "Aha! Where were YOU on the night of January 16th?"

For today:
The general legs it to his staff car where he rolls in style, then gets out to foot the lines while inspecting his troops.

I did this at breakfast Station in Dunellon. I left the newspaper behind and I can't remember #4.

I like the "CONSTELLATION" Prize.

My son of thirty lives with us, thank god. Btw, they had a Greek sausage (or was that Polish?) special. $7.99. they have real, pan fried home fries. Not the (shudder) deep fried monstrosities.

Well, I had trouble with the crossword puzzle, the Sudoku, and the Kenken today, so the Jumble was my salvation. Took me a minute to get the fourth word, but the solution popped right up, and I very much enjoyed your poem, Owen--many thanks for that delight.

So, Misty, you're saying that after a minute you had #4 "figured" out? Actually, although I solved this in early am, it took me a minute to re-GROK it...

Btw, don't I use that word all the time?
