Corporate America, in the year of twenty-one-twenty,
Was not so different from now, after just one century!
For example, this story of Miss Shelia Johnson&Johnson
Who soon will be married to Mister Thomas BankOne!

They had to search for a fitting and tasteful venue,
Like the Church of God, sponsored by Suave Shampoo --
Though he was Apple Atheist, long gone astray,
And she was a Jew, attending Congregation Amway!

He bought a tux, a new one, the best to be found,
"Hershey's" ad on the back when he turned around.
Her gown was so beautiful is made her swoon,
With a neon tiara, flashing "Fruit-of-the-Loom"!

I got a kick out of the corporate tie-ins, Owen, but even so I wasn't prepared for the flashing tiara!
I "smiled out loud" at that... Thank you.

Father had difficulty sticking to promises, so for Christmas Jack gave his dad a glue gun.

Woohoo! After struggling with a tough Saturday crossword puzzle, this Jumble was a total delight. I got the first three words instantly and the fourth one after just a moment's effort. And the solution popped right up. Then came to Owen's poem, and there were all the words in a very inventive way. And then came the next treat, Ol'Man Keith's always clever and funny play on rhymes. Thank you, both.

Nice to see the cartoon in bright, interesting colors. And I like that these cartoons have mixed race figures in almost every Jumble.

A great way to start the weekend.

I couldn't get here as I struggled all day with the xword. #2 was another adopted French word which is a new kick .

Humorous poem today.
