Here's men's clothing, women's there,
Between, our line of children's wear!

In our food court you'll be merry!
So many styles of food to taste,
There'll be fewer ones to hate!
Pussy cat, pussy cat, where have you been?
Out to the Mall, with the noise and din!
Ran up a debt on your credit card,
Finding good catnip can be so hard!
Lo, the astronomer on the mountain top,
Swiveling his scope to the next stellar dot.
A gentle hand to control it precisely,
Hope that theories are proven nicely.
Trudging up to his dome, Earth's eye,
He repeats "I can, I can learn how and why!"
His home is the cosmos, Oh, so wide.
He views all the wonders, to the other side.
Far stars for eons are still going strong,
Then a nova occurs, and poof they are gone!
With telescopes, dishes, and other widgets,
He looks to the universe to ask, "What is it?"
When, as in jumble one, the solution plays on words that have a double meaning, our Owen delights himself--and us!--by offering yet a third meaning.

Delightful and very helpful poem, Owen--many thanks. I'm in a bit of a hurry this morning and so had trouble with #2 and #6. Your poem of course helped me solve those right away, and I then had no trouble at all getting the solution. It wasn't until I re-read your poem that I saw the solution right there already--wonderful! Loved the cartoon, the slightly tricky words, Owen's enjoyable and cheerful poem, and the solution--hope all of us are still doing that! Have a great Sunday, everybody.
I got the 6*6 quickly for a change. Before I could check out the letters, the solution popped up.
Two entirely different but enjoyable poems today.

Neither jumble was all that difficult today; in fact, the j6 was easier for me than the j4, as the solution popped up even before I unscrambled the clues.
Liked both poems, and especially the way the solutions were worked in.
