The jogger’s poise gave
the utmost boost for the win.
‘Roids are just libel.

Joe was a daily jogger
who also liked being a blogger.
He stayed away from any rival
and so avoided any libel.
His blogging conveyed utmost poise,
and this further kept away any noise.
In the end he was given a toast
at a party by his newspaper host.
For Joe this pleasure was supreme
and turned his job into a dream.
The Bot hates my Wordle comment today, so I will separate it out.
Ach! I went down in a fiery defeat trying to use the kiln.
At first a stoic response, (but soon tears burst forth) as the would-be athlete starts a jogging routine.

OMK- inspired by your encouragement yesterday, and Haiku in the CW today, I decided to try my hand again. I had fun and hope I improved somewhat.
My title varied a little from yours, but given the same J words, your offering was more positive, with your jogger winning. I did manage to include the W.
Misty- Joe, the jogger/blogger managed to keep things on an even keel by avoiding libel and keeping poised. Again, a positive ending with his dream job. Thanks.

CanadianEh! ~ Your title fits your poem neatly. And the haiku does a nice job in switching perspective in line 3.
Your jogger is given something to think about.
Truth is, about half of all joggers are in the game because they are too fat!
Or think so.
One of the problems in basing haiku on randomly given words is that they often force us to bend words beyond their flexibility, thus adding obscurity to a form that is usually obscure enough.

Misty ~ I gather Joe’s blogging was (Curiously!) on behalf of a newspaper—rather than on the web.
But now that I reflect on it, I know some newspapers (as well as TV News programs) direct readers & viewers to follow stories on the internet. In such cases, a “blog” makes sense.
His news editors were obviously pleased with what Joe has been posting, so your description of his job as “joyful” turned out to be most apt. Another happy ending.
I am reminded of Bertolt Brecht’s lyrics (Blitzstein translation)for the finale to “Threepenny Opera”:
“Happy Ending, nice and tidy,
It’s a rule I learned in school.
Get your money every Friday,
Happy Endings—are the rule!”

CanadianEh!, you were a bit on the negative side today, but that's what's important about your offerings--they bring us back down to reality and realism. I didn't have time to try a Wordle today, but hope I'll have time to try one before the end of the week.
