|| petty, toxic, iodine, jaguar, "goat" (him) into it. || season, potato, mosaic, driver, thrive, shrank, had his "sites" set (on) it.

The opening poem contains all the words (or variations of them) from today's Jumble.

This is the tale of the three billy-goats Gruff,
And a mean old troll who made bridge-crossing tough!
The littlest billy drove a small electric car,
The middle billy drove a sporty Jaguar.

The troll set up a toll-booth, charged them each a dime,
And assaulted them with salt (with or without iodine)!
Too much salt is toxic, his behavior thus was petty,
What it did to the paint job on their cars wasn't pretty!

The third goat rolled up in a surplus Sherman tank.
Roared into the toll-booth, pushed it off the bank!
The troll's big toe he flattened, put the video on-line,
Soon the tread was trending, and he never paid his dime!

The farmland was a crop mosaic for the market.
The driver of the tractor scarce knew where to park it.
The harvest season neared, the potato plants looked right.
Most crops thrived, others shrank, due to the site.
The farmer had his hopes for the veggies he would sell,
He had his heart set on it, In his sights they prospered well!

Wow, Owen, I can't believe you squeezed all of the j6 words into one verse! Including the solution. Wow again. The clues came pretty easily, though I did have to write out the first one's letters to reorganize them. But the solution took a lot of serious cogitation and trying out different word combinations. Really laugh at those puns.

I like the way you put so much into the j4 poem, though I'm not sure I see the whole solution there. I got it, and I still appreciate those silly puns.

I do hope you're feeling better. Let us know, ok?

My 6*6 post was made yesterday .

Today went pretty quick . #3 with all those vowels had to use ink . Plus I had the riddle so I knew what letters were left: Two vowels, etc .

I see the horror of Wilbur doggerel got Owen versifying rapidly .

Can't believe I wasted all of 30 seconds searching for the missing "D"!

Loved your Jumble poem this morning, Owen--many thanks. I had a little trouble with the fourth word and had to play around with it for a minute before I got it. But once I got all four words, the solution just rammed right into place. Loved the cartoon with those silly billies.

I sent my vote in three days ago and trust that it was counted.

Have a good evening watching the elections, everybody!

Owen, do you use any walking aids? If not, I hope you start. A cane, especially one with multiple prongs (or whatever they're called) or a walker would be such a help with balance. I don't know what device would help with getting back up, but I bet there are some.

I so hope you get this resolved.

My friend has a fold up cane. Also re. Jayce' advice of B12(I will try that) I would have your medications checked. I'm going to do that when I see my dr on the 30th

Oops. I just realized I have conflicting appointments.

I used a cane for decades, and still keep several handy, but usually use a walker, and have a wheelchair for when I have to go somewhere where I'll have to wait.

And you fall? When letting go of the --- to sit down? When getting up? My balance is nothing like what it used to be, and those are the tricky times for me.

Mailed off my absentee ballot a couple weeks ago!

They really aren't that bad ... usually! 😉
Tomorrow, try writing a haiku for each of the 5 solutions. Camouflaged, of course, and mix up the order as well.

When I fell last night, I was using my walker. The tricky time for me is turning. But I do have a lot of trouble standing up, too.

My doc of years retired a few months ago, and my new one has taken me off three meds so far, and changed dosages on a couple others.

Well, gosh, I guess we're all seeing the effects of getting older. I wish you and me and everybody else the best.

You seem to have all the device bases covered already. I have 2 different canes, and am looking at walkers on Amazon, but no wheelchair in the offing -- yet!

Well, be careful and take care of yourself, Owen--you're in our hearts and in our prayers.
