The J6 text was typed in while suffering a splitting headache, so will the first person able to please verify it as correct, or note corrections. Thank you!
I looked at the Chicago Tribune Sunday jumble site, and it looks the same to me -- letter arrangement and circle placement both.
Hope your headache is better.
Well, the j4 was quite easy. Once I had all the letters, the solution just popped right out. And the pun was pretty funny. My salon isn't overpriced, I think, but still not cheap!
The j6 clues took a little more thought, especially the first and third -- too many vowels and then not enough, I guess. But the solution was obvious. That pun was funny too, in a way. One word or two??? Both, apparently.
After a terrible night last night, I slept thru the day today. Still haven't done today's cw. Did get both Jumbles, but my apologies for being too sick to write poems for poach, tying, melody, inject, (a) clip joint. outage, sandal, warmth, sugary, forage, infect, straight-forward.
Hey, no problem, Owen. You rest. I was just wondering about the others.
So sorry that you've been feeling so sick today, Owen. Take good care of yourself. I spent so much time on the Crossword--which I liked after two tough crossword days--that I was never able to finish the Jumble. I got the second, third, and fourth words, but had trouble with the first, fourth, and fifth, and the solution. Looked them up just now, and would never have gotten them without help. I have to visit a sick friend tomorrow morning, so will not be able to do puzzles until later in the day, but hope I can check in with a better Jumble experience tomorrow.
Again, take good care of yourself, Owen.
