The park is strewn with daisies,
Wild flowers, glade to glens.
Sweet blooms are bison pantries,
Feed bears rousing from their dens.
The streams a-teem with trout,
The soil smells so fresh and fair.
The rapids babble, then shout!
Bird songs twitter and fill the air!
Grey mountains in the distance.
Cloud castles in lowering sky,
Are witness, in this instance,
Of a world perfect for you and I!
A refreshing poem, Owen; a lovely tribute to Nature in her time of springtime beauty, of rare fitness, a pastoral paradise...

Well the clues came easily, and the solution pun was pretty obvious. But that is the point of a pun, I guess. Otherwise where's the fun?
Enjoyed the poem, Owen. It presented a lovely picture. I only wish that it could continue to exist; hope that it can.
What a charming poem, Owen--many thanks! I got all four words instantly but had trouble with the solution. Your poem did it--gave me the missing words which made the cartoon even more delightful. Interesting scale above the judge. Fun experience all around.
Always nice to see your comment, Ol'Man Keith, and so great to have you back, Sandyanon. And sorry to hear about your ear-ache, Owen. Hope it gets better soon.
I did the J this am but just got here. The J went fast except for #3 because there was only one vowel.
Solution was obvious.

I was out of town yesterday. Newspaper never got out of the plastic.
