Today’s Jumble haiku:
(Our narrator may have a rare condition, one involving his cerebrospinal fluid, so rare that his doctor does not recognize it. Our patient is aghast…)
“Froin (Syndrome:) a Case”
“Ach, I’ve been drooping.
Doc says, ‘You’re good!’ So, not a
damn thing hampers me?!”

Money or your
life…?

Life was growing old and gray.
His step no longer young and gay.
Giving relief
To faltering feet,
Life held a staff to make his way.

I did yesterday's but never posted. I got very sick on Sunday and Monday.
I'm better but apparently tested positive for covid
The prescription I got knocked the fever off. No breathing issues

Connie again felt alive
when she harvested her chive.
She had begun to droop
after leaving her favorite group.
which hampered her new phase,
a phrase for difficult days.
But then a new group she joined
and a new ambition coined:
a sonata she composed
and in her garden planted a rose,
and with chives began to cook.
Now her life has a whole new look.
Wilbur, so sorry to hear about your illness. What a relief that you were able to get good medical care and are recovering. Take good care of yourself, and thank you for checking in with us today.
Today seems to be about restorative therapies, of chives and roses for Misty’s Connie &, IRL, the happy working of the new anti-Covid med for Wilbur.
Glad to read of them. The poetic attributes of the former make for charming reading. Thank you, Misty.
As for the latter, I am especially happy to learn that this new drug—presumably Paxlovid—has lived up to its reputation, and that WC’s breathing is all the better for it.
Hurrah for science!

First Betsy, then Phil got very sick then late Saturday I got the severe headache and started running a fever.
Betsy had a negative covid test so I took it and lo and behold positive.
That was yesterday. My pcp runs slow so I'm awaiting his call. I need to get the prescription into the pharmacy or another day is wasted
Plus this nagging cough
Thank You for your concern, we have a nice family here

Enjoyed your always fun haiku, OMK, and thank you for your kind comments.
Yes, aging is not easy, Owen, and your lovely verse makes it real, but not depressing.
Thank you for that too.
And, Wilbur, I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
We miss you, CanadianEh!. Hope your having a busy and productive day.
My condolences, Wilbur. I'm in a Covid isolation unit myself, but other than an occasional cough, I'm feeling fine. This is my second time here, but I think the first time was a false positive, since it lasted so briefly without symptoms.
Owen's subtlety exceeds all others with regard to the daily Wordle.
Today, my own hint touches (50% worth) on his--in a roundabout way.
As for the J-words, I'm proud of my efforts today, though realize I risk that my embeddings may be missed.
Unless readers actively seek out coded hints, they're bound to be missed.
Right, Misty?

I used the Wordle Bot suggestion as my starter two days in a row, and finished in three both times. Coincidence? I’ll try it again.

Good to read you all today, but no time to contribute.
Respite care being put into care tomorrow for family member.
Owen, your verse with its faltering feet made me tear up after my experiences this week. And your subtle W hint with “the staff of life” was so appropriate.
WC- feel better soon. Sorry to hear you and Betsy and Phil had Covid.
Misty- thanks for your lovely Herbal poem. I love gardens.
OMK- I found your embedded music. Do I need a German accent to get the Ach I’ve?
