Each cat was once a kitten, mewling, weak, but cute. Endowed with hunter's reflexes, and a snazzy suit! A carnivore, it's born to kill. Why do we all adore This vicious creature in our homes, and give it toys galore? We feed it catfood, made with tasty meat or fish, In hopes that once it's sated, it won't kill birds, we wish. It doesn't like most human foods, fruits or bowls of soup. It's claws are like a fork with prongs, it has no way to scoop. But one thing about housecats that I will defend, It is neat about what comes out from its nether end. Its litter box it uses, and buries what e're it's passing, All elsewhere is a no-no zone -- reserved for hairball hacking!
I also passed today. You are remarkable, Owen, to fit the appropriate words in a poem!
My sister, whom I visited recently, has a cat that uses the toilet! I haven't been able to catch her in the act long enough to photograph her, but she climbs on the toilet, settles her paws on the rim and does her business. They have no need for a litter box.

BTW, my newspaper arrived though late. I don't know why but I'm glad to have it.

I always have to hunt for the words in Owen's poems . The real genius is posting the ooem faster than we can solve the clues .
