There are several other Jumble blogs, but the ones I checked all started off by listing the answers. In this blog, answers can be either hinted at or masked by burying them in comments. No overt spoilers!

Mrs. Pomp was very honest, out front in all she said. Which also could be said of her bosom, matronly. She always wore fine hosiery, made with lisle thread. And a brooch upon that bosom, of wire filigree.
At the county fair each year, she entered for a prize, Some special home baked cookies, which would entail Some spices from her garden, which was noted for its size, She had some special plants there, not available retail.
She ground them down to powder, and folded them in batter. And every year the judges tried her cookies first of all. Then they got the munchies, how pastries tasted didn't matter. Their senses were insensible, but boy, they had a ball!
The Queen of Hearts was in a mood, a real snit-ful day! The Joker, as court jester, tried to chase her frown away. First he tried a riddle, "Of the cards, which one is humbler? The answer is the deuce, it is the most modest number!"
The Queen was not amused, declaimed, "Off with his head!" Said the Joker, much opposed, "Can we do something else instead? I'd much prefer my head stayed on, we're very much attached. And don't cut off a hand or foot, they're very nicely matched!"
The Queen said, "We will wait awhile, there is a wondrous chair That cooks with electricity, and fries whoe'er sits there!" The Joker, non-conductive, didn't think things were that grim. Even when the Queen demanded, "Send more power thru him!"
Both poems are strong, but I prefer this one. I'm not sure why it should be, but with the seven beat line, the rhymes seem much more satisfying when they come with more frequency. It may have something to do with the English language... but I think the French also prefer rhyming couplets with their typically longer line.

Many thanks, Owen. I got all six answers without any problem, but struggled with the reveal until I read your poems! Yay! Thanks!

I had five but #5 held me up. Then with the available letters I got the five letter riddle word which led to #5 and the last word of the riddle.
I see it's 11 pm. I had another word which wouldn't fit until I got MODEST and HIM. I see RIDDLE didn't come quickly.
I agree with OMK. The second poem was delightful.
I wish we had more jumblers . Nice work Misty . When figuring the RIDDLE do you write the letters out. When I did POWER stood out.
I don't know what the last (wrong) word was. I wrote right over it .
