A Blessing For Each

Oh, Erato has had her way with me,
all week long, as my verse Banshee.
She doesn’t care how hard I work,
to her I’m just a po’try jerk!

I heard a different muse today,
แผฮปฮตฯ…ฮธฮตฯฮฏฮฑ calls me another way.
“Give me your worn & tired, your poor prey,
wretched Keith, tempest tossed & gray.”

What can I say?
Yay! Hurray!
I lift my glass of Beaujolais*
& toast my weekly holiday!

assure nobody loses),
for whatever it is YOU pray!

Dwindling returns may cause
Widespread real estate flaws
Every home sold
Lets prices rove
To a lower price than it was.

Franรงois was a consummate fashionista.
He considered himself best in the cosmos.
His styles on the runway showed him an artista.
Reviewers insisted his dresses were "the most!"

Then came the block, no more ideas in his noggin.
His pantry of ideas was empty as Hubbard's.
But retro fashions were coming in again;
Maybe he could revert past styles from his cupboards.

This kernel of a thought grew to an intent.
He would have to re-design the entire line.
It took some time, but it was hours well spent!
It worked out, the redesign looked fine!

The moral is, if you have nothing new,
Perhaps there's something old that'll do.

Here's ChatGPT again with a new poem for today.

Write a sonnet using the words
p*****, r*****, c*****, n*****, k*****, i*****, "**-****" or r*****.

Cosmic Pantry Dreams.

In my pantry, there's a world unseen,
Where kernels of thought and dreams converge,
And in my noggin, there's a cosmic scene,
Where stars and galaxies forever emerge.

Sometimes I revert to memories past,
And find comfort in familiar tastes,
Yet, in my mind, a universe so vast,
Where endless possibilities await.

Insist I may, to keep my focus clear,
And separate the mundane from divine,
To re-sign myself to what I hold dear,
And let my inner light unbind and shine.

For in this pantry of my mind and soul,
Lies the universe, waiting to unfold.

"Long Journey"

Dot worked in a paltry diner
cleaning the messy pantry.
Her cosmos should have been finer,
and she wished that she were free.

One day she slipped on a kernel
and fell and hit her noggin.
She wrote this up in her journal,
and decided to go jogging.

Her boss did often insist
she do all the chores on his list.
He was never kind or benign
and she felt it was time to resign.

While searching for new work
she met a wealthy boy from New York.
A year later they had a baby boy
And her life is now filled with joy.

Your Sunday poems are the best,
and make us feel happy and blessed.
Many thanks for this work so fine--
wish we could send you a bottle of wine.

Francois's life could have been a mess,
but how great that he found a new line
and came up with a great design,
and his career is now a success.

CE! and Wilbur

I love your Sunday Wordles,
Cheers for overcoming any hurdles.
