Today’s Jumble haiku:
(They were small, so he fancied he could thrash them.
He was angry they were cocky, preventing him from keeping the cool head needed to use his new ka-rah-te lessons.
He wanted to cry out, scream, but there must be…)

No Yelling!

He was too livid
to tangle with a Ninja.
Never mind motive.

You may not get this Wordle in a flash.
It may feel farther than a 60-yard dash,
and you might find your teeth getting ready to “….. !”

"Stolen Turtle"

Mary's mother was angry and livid
that someone stole a ninja from her kid.
She did with neighbors tangle
but decided to avoid a scandal.

She could not imagine a motive
for taking a pet from a child so devoted.
The only news she heard that was telling
was that a neighbor a ninja was selling.

That made Mary upset and she did fret
but in the end she bought her daughter's pet.
The experience was sad, but Mary was glad
that her child once again her pet had.

Dang, Misty!
After reading your first line, I was hoping to see something had been stolen "from her kivid"!
What a rhyme that would've been...

I did a quick search on line, and while I did not see a Ninja Turtle, I found a Ninja Pig! I can only take a stab in the dark, a wild guess to know what your poem's "pet" might be.
That Ninja Pig is mighty expensive, so I am glad Mary's mom could afford to restore her daughter's pet.

Did you get the Wordle yet? I set a high par for it, but I'm pretty sure you can crack it. My little poem should do it, especially if you read it in conjunction with CEh's one-liner!

Join me in sending Congrats to CanadianEh for her perseverance--and for getting it the hard way!

Ol' Man Keith--Well, I looked up kivid, and it appears to be stone, painting, crystals. or something of that sort. I don't think ninja turtles would live there, but who knows? It doesn't matter because they don't appear to be living creatures anyway, just teenage cartoon or film or movie characters. And in those venues they appear to be green standing figures and certainly not pigs. Grrrr, the things you learn online. Makes me want to gnash my teeth.

By the way, I did get the Wordle (well, I guessed it) as did CE. And yes, we should congratulate her.
Thanks again, for your very fun haiku and verse, and your very kind message.

CanadianEh!, my goodness, you certainly worked hard on your Wordle, and Ol' Man Keith and I both want to congratulate you for your brave perseverance in working your way through six stages of the process. Cheers to you! And we appreciate your frustration, and hope your teeth are okay.

Have a good rest of the week.

Owen, please come back. Hope all is well with you. We miss you and your wonderful, clever verses.

Misty ~ Funny, I didn't even think look up "livid," as I took it to be a word of my own imagination, the kind of neologism Ogden Nash would invent to make a rhyme come out all right.
The trouble with trying to rhyme monosyllables (like "Kid") with two or more syllables (like "livid") is when the meter doesn't give you the right emphasis.
In this case, we have the stress on the first syllable of "Livid" and on the only syllable of "kid." [Ernnh!]

Unlike the famous Hunchback, this bell ringer uses his lower appendages to activate the funeral chimes.

Toe Knelling

The ninja was livid;
He gnashed his teeth.
The photo was vivid,
A disguised maiden underneath,
With tangled bodies obvious.
The motive was devious,
To expose him as a spy,
A death knell to bring nigh.

I’m late today after meetings and appointments.

OMK- I did a very literal Spooner for my title, but the back story was a little far-fetched. Then my poem became a little risquรฉ, but that’s where the J words led me. I consulted Wikipedia re ninjas and discovered they were lower class spies. Mine became disguised as a maiden, but he was outed. Porn revenge perhaps.

Misty- Mary’s mother went great expense to soothe her daughter’s fretting. I’ll second OMK’s comment about livid and kid. And I just laughed at the Turtle in the title as I “got” your Ninja Turtles meaning.

Thanks to you both for your congrats on my perseverance. Who knew so many words ended in ASH (I was sure that my entry of QU at the start was going to give me the Tada! Weird combination of letters today.

Where is Owen?
