Only a crazy person would use ice in place of bricks.
Only a nerdy person would know how to pull that trick!
Inuits and Eskimos have kept the craft for generations,
Defying the wintry hazards of their frozen situations.

Sometime, many years ago, there was an Inuit Edison.
Worked out how to build a igloo, to what specifications!
To keep both brain and body from freezing in the Arctic,
That icy dome kept warmth inside, and spared a fate cryonic!

The parabolic shape made the structure stronger.
The snow forms insulation, to keep warmth inside longer.
Would that we knew the Inuit who thought up this innovation --
Why didn't he move South? would begin my interrogation!

Well, I solved it, with a little help from my friend the poet. That third clue just didn't seem like a real word to me, even after I realized what it must be. The solution was cute, though the cartoon was more than a little gross.

Loved the poem. But to answer the question, I think that "home is where the heart is", even if it is frozen.

Well, had trouble with the third word too, although thanks to Sandyanon's comment and going back to Owen's poem, I think I got it. Think I got the second solution word, thanks to the igloo, but am still struggling with the first one.

I know your wit and wisdom will prevail, Misty, because you are thinking hard. Think with all your might.

And to borrow from the CC, use your NOODLE

I got this one even the clunky third word not to speak of the first .

Well, I looked it up before I saw your post, Wilbur. And in spite of your kind comment, my NOODLE sure didn't help me get that first Jumble solution word this morning, did it? Still, I appreciate the help, many thanks.
