Easy jumble. Only had to look at the fourth clue for a few more seconds than the others. The solution was okay, but I so prefer it when the punny phrase makes sense with the cartoon in both its meanings. For sure that little boy would rather have been elsewhere, but he was probably more upset than indifferent, wouldn't you think? Or not.
Sandy ~ I think the little boy probably has a large fantasy life. It may be what earned him detention.
He's the kind of kid who knows he would've scored if coach had put him in the game.

I got all four Jumble words without any hesitation, but needed Owen's poem to help me with the solution. Worrisome not to see him posting on either the Crossword or here this morning--hope all is okay. Had to look up the solution, which, I agree, would have been tough to guess. I guess the little fellow did need some more excitement in his little life. Will check in later to see if we hear from Owen.
Yes, Owen, I didn't mention it before, but hadn't realized at that time that you hadn't posted on the Corner either. You got the jumble posted, but I hope it was just (just!) a bad night that has kept you from poetry.
