This jumble was easier than I expected. Not The clues so much; I had to think about three,and four for awhile until they came to me. But the solution popped out even before I had the clues. Clever obvious pun.
Really enjoyed the integration of the Pooh characters in your poem, Owen, and I thought you used them very creatively to work in the jumble words. You do continually amaze me.

Owen ~ I loved your verses reminding us of the always-lovable critters of Pooh's world. It is hard to settle on favorites in the Hundred Acre Wood, but I always had a soft spot for lil' Roo, and of course Eeyore. (I always "see" Eeyore whenever one of my golden retrievers lays herself flat on the floor with her jowls squished out.)
Betsy was a real heretic. She pretended to be a good Christian, but whenever she was on her knees, you could bet she was praying sour curses down on her rivals' heads.
(I'd call this one a quasi-Spoonerism.)

OMK, I think humanity is in real danger of near extinction. We seem never to deal with problems until they slap us in the face with urgency and it's the same with climate change. BUT, if enough people survive to maintain -- or regain -- a level of technology and civilization that will allow us to expand off this damaged planet, then I see us going on for millennia. We will encounter different circumstances that demand we change, not all of us in the same way. So I have no predictions about what we may become or when. I just have no idea.
I've been reading about the horrendous situation in Australia. It seems like a picture of the worst of our futures here. I hope we do survive with some sort of coherent society.
I too had problems with the third and fourth Jumble word, but laughed out loud when I got the little critter that did indeed remind me of Winnie the Pooh. So it was a total delight to come here and see your sweet poem, Owen, which also helped me with the fourth word. And then, once I had all the words--Voila!--I got the solution even if I know nothing about hydroelectric facilities. Lots of fun, thanks to your poem, Owen, and Ol'Man Keith's funny quasi.

But diversity also means self-defining groups that don't become "one," whether of distinct ethnic & cultural backgrounds or of philosophical/educational leanings (scientists, poets, survivalists, artists, left vs right etc.) The Poohs vs. the Eeyores...
The sheer variety of types means there can be more than one way of encountering whatever's ahead.
