"Honest Actor"
Fred, the actor, was famous
and hesitated to name us
to serve as his possible proxy,
an act that would be sly and foxy.
Then last month they did award
him a prize that was in accord
with his accomplishments--
and his spirits soared.
Fred has never had any remorse
that he was aware and stayed on course.
And for this, we all him endorse.

~ This is based on the original, a 14th century poem calling out respectable townsfolk who were spotted peeping at a naughty display of naked ladies washing themselves at an adult-rated show at the fair.
Tsk. Who would’ve suspected our ancestors of such lascivious carryings-on?
