Her inheritance made Tina twirl,
from the moment she saw that lovely pearl.
An eyeful of gifts could be found in the hoard,
but when she saw the pearl, her spirits soared.
After this her heart was never low,
and she enjoyed walking in her meadow.
And back home, in her quiet bedroom,
she treasured her precious heirloom.
Misty ~ Yes, it sometimes happens, as your Tina knows, that one item among a great many will stand out.
It can cast the others into the shade, as your "lovely pearl" has done.
My triplet hint should work for your wordle, especially if you also read Owen's poem of Senator Whorl.

We shall surely miss Wilbur, but no more than Chet & Lois, having lost their creator.

Took me two tries to get today's Wordle. My first failed attempt was entering the word DIRTY.
Fortunately, that didn't work, but my second try did. As an English professor I should have thought of that one first.

Owen, I enjoyed your verse about the opening of the "tree-farm," but Barney's story depressed me until I was glad to see where he ended up. He deserved to go there!
We understand that you're busy these days, CanadianEh!, but hope we'll get one of your delightful verses tomorrow. It's especially tough with Wilbur gone.
OMK, I sadly don't remember remember Wilbur's Chet and Lois's story enough to be able to continue it. Maybe if you got us started, the rest of us could take turns adding a little chapter every few days?
I had better not try. I already spend too much time here. I have been working recently on my "Lear Log," editing the journal I kept while rehearsing and playing the King.
I interrupt that project daily to post something here.
If someone were to take up the Chet/Lois saga, they could access past dates to remind themself of prior postings.
