Orijins :
Sometimes an idea comes to me,
I try to glom onto it, but it's not to be.
I've lost to time
More than I rhyme.
Oh, the loss to humanity!

Each week I take a break, and this ain’t contradictory.
I’m happy to salute my pals, in this not-long valedictory!

In the fabric of Space and Time
We all exist, our lives a line.
It stretches from birth, with tangles,
To our death -- there it angles!

The Grim Reaper takes us away
When our lives gang all agley.
And by Karma's sweet equity,
What e'er's our heaven, there we'll be.

Some, with fervor, will forever praise
A narcissist God for endless days.
Others, following a different script,
Will reincarnate (likely as an ant or tick).

Pity the followers of Cthulhu.
He will devour them, then they're through.
Thruout the Cosmos, thru infinite dimensions,
There's a concerted effort to meet our ascensions!

Last time I had a colonoscopy
Polyps were removed from my body.
I looked it up: anemone
Well, oh my, glory be!
I've got a coral reef inside of me!

Once a week, the usual concert at Old Fort William is presented for the hearing-impaired.
Deaf Fort Concert

I wear my flowery fabric,
With fervour deliver my script.
Not our usual polyphonic sound,
But equity demands it all around.
In silence the crowd devours,
As if in heaven for hours.

"Successful Script"

It took a concerted effort
for Carl a new audience to court.
He had worked with fervor on his script
to give it a fabric that couldn't be ripped,
and he hoped the story would glow with power
that a young audience would happily devour.

Carl had worked hard to make the dialogue witty
along with diversity and meaningful equity.
So it was heaven when the viewers loudly cheered
and Carl felt his art was honored and revered.

Ol' Man Keith, thanks for checking in this morning. We miss your lovely Sunday verse, but look forward to your haiku and others tomorrow! Hope you had a great day.

Owen, your poem about Space and Time is simply beautiful. It really does open up the universe of the world and of beings, and it is really fascinating and neatly constructed. Many thanks for that gift.

CanadianEh!, how special to get a verse about an unusual concert for the hearing-impaired. You give a hint to some of the special characteristics and needs of such an event. I was really intrigued by it. And thanks for your Wordle too.

Have a good week coming up, everybody.
