"Adversarial Plot"
The burly thief wore a domino mask.
"Stand and deliver!" he cried.
Our driver adapted his speed in a flash
and justly thrust the ol' cuss aside.

"A Good Life"
Leonora was not very burly,
she was small and her hair was quite curly.
She tried to adapt
to her chores, but she napped
when the house got too dusty,
and felt this was justly.
She liked to play domino
on a day with a rainbow.
She cried when her dog became ill
and gave him a loving burial.
But this was the only blot
in her life's very happy plot.
If that is the only blot on her happiness, Misty, your Leonora does indeed enjoy "A Good life." Much less adventurous than the only other Leonora (Leonore) I know--Beethoven's heroine in his opera, Fidelio.
But then I suppose you are raising a serious question with your title. Can an uneventful life be a "good" one?
Something to ponder.
~ OMK
Ol' Man Keith, it's never much of a good life when it's entirely controlled by Jumble words. But Leonora is a brave gal for not complaining too much.
Well, she has that in common with Ludwig's cross-dressing gal.
Non-complaining and brave. Brava!
And I'd hazard a guess that neither would vote for our Ubu POTUS.

Meanwhile, at York, John the Prince has gathered what's left of the cabal
10/30,31
agile, hoard, ferret, docket, forged ahead.
Burly,Adapt,Justly,Domino;Burial plot
Though cowardly and a petty tyrant Prince John had an agile mind
His plot to usurp the crown though unjust must forge ahead
As long as Richard was buried abroad he'd adapt and surely find
A way to advance the docket, though unraveling thread by thread.
The burly DeBoeuf rumored slain, the Jew, Isaac and his hoard
Of gold taken by outlaws. DeBois smitten by a maidens spell
And wherefore De Bracy, he with his hundred sword?
The dominos were falling, piece by piece. What next? Who's to tell?
Leave it to Fitzhurse to ferret out a plan of action
When at a gallop, DeBracy arrived, all in a passion
"It's him", the Knight exclaimed, the knight incognito
It's Richard your brother!". John swooned, "Say it's not so"

Next, John hatches a plot while Sir Brian's plans to woo Rebecca hit a snag: the Grand Master has made a surprise visit to the Templar Preceptory. Richard is off to Coningsburgh guided by Wamba; Wilfred has made a miraculous recovery and sets off after Richard with his Squire, Gurth.
