There are several other Jumble blogs, but the ones I checked all started off by listing the answers. In this blog, answers can be either hinted at or masked by burying them in comments. No overt spoilers!

Molly was a ewe, but she aspired to something more. She yearned for the stage, to be called for an encore! So she packed her bindle, bid farewell to the flock, Headed to the city, to give producers there a shock.
She wanted to be a singer, so sought talent scouts. Her voice was uncontrolled, she would bleat at tryouts. She wanted to be a dancer, in spring she'd cavorted. But she suffered the stigma of hairy legs, so aborted.
She wanted to be an actress, went in for auditions. At last she got a role, followed by others in addition. She became a coarser ovine as her reputation grew, She fell prey to ego's mantra, "Molly, it's all about ewe!"
Your protagonists are so interesting, Owen. Roger, Molly, and even Travis. I can see Molly doing some iconic roles. Imagine her as Clarice in Silence of the Lambs, for example!
Anyway, the Jumble clue words wwere pretty straightforward, but the solution not quite so much -- all those vowels. I went to your poem for help again, and found it

Lol!🤣
I think Molly was voted "Most Embraceable Ewe" one year. To think it all went for mutton.
I got the four words quickly but couldn't put them together. Of course, Owen revealed the riddle.
I thought some kind of scraping would be involved. No P though.
WC
just did some manipulating to see what the window says:
KNOCK ON WOOD.
