The senses are assuredly more than five. There's a sense of gratitude that we're alive! There's horse sense and common sense, Both hard to find, but the need is intense!
There's a sense of belonging, it's easy to spy, Where you're accepted, and no one asks why. There's a sense of guilt, that just "sorry" won't fly, Sometimes there's no peace that money can buy.
There's a sense of achievement, you've done a good job! There's a sense of shame, when you feel like a fraud. There's a sense of indignation, a need to squawk About talking the talk, but not walking the walk.
There's a sense of faith, not only towards God: In your pastor or rabbi, or by reason you're awed! There's a sense of fun, for those with a zest. And a sense of boredom for all of the rest.
Delightful poem this morning, Owen--just loved it, and didn't even need it to get the Jumble words. Thank you for a great start to the day. I zipped right through the first three words of the Jumble and then got stuck on the fourth one. Just couldn't get it. So I went on to the cartoon and was able to get the solution right away-- a delight. And once I knew that the fourth word would start with some combination of A and P, I got the answer. Yay. Great fun!
Got in under the wire. I too found the fourth word of the clues the only problem, and again like Misty, got that once I had solved the cartoon. Unlike Misty, I did not find that solution completely obvious. The first two words were easy, but I was stuck with the real ending to the phrase -- just couldn't get it out of my head for awhile. Kept thinking ahead to Thanksgiving dessert, I guess!
I do love your poem. It seems to cover pretty much everything, and very amusingly. It definktely increased my sense of wellbeing.
Does this mean that anyone can post the answers after 12 noon PDT? Or would that be plain tacky? A fine poem today, Owen, both in theme and technique! Diolch! ~ OMK
Yep, that's exactly what it means (assuming I got all time zones in the right order. I know the coasts are 3 hours apart, but get confused about which is which).
Sandyanon ~ I took Bill G's suggestion and just ignored the "I'm not a robot" box. It worked. You can go right to "Preview" or "Publish" without bothering with the *#@! test screen. ~ OMK
Here is the Google image game. When I played it years ago, it was very similar to the sign-in puzzles you see. Relax. This is the Google algorithm asking you to teach it to recognize objects. There ought to be a skip box somewhere, but why not just enjoy playing with the AI? Remember, the AI you train today may be your master next year. Let it have good memories of you!

Owen @ 2:28 PM - I always got confused about time zones too until I started picturing the sun coming up over the Atlantic. It won't be seen in the Central Time Zone for another hour, Mountain 2 hours, Pacific 3 hours, and out here in the middle of the Pacific (the Aleutian-Hawaiian Time Zone) for 3 more hours. Add DST to that and it gets more complicated, especially in AZ and here where it's not observed!

My daughter-in-law is a Lutheran 4th word, so I guess I had an advantage.
